The identity section reminds me of the question the judge asked us, when we were formally changing our son's name (he was 11 at the time). The judge asked how we (or Two) could be so certain of his gender identity at such a young age. I replied, "Your Honor, when did you know you were a boy?" He paused and thought about that a moment and then said, "All right." I think since cisgender people (of which I am one) so rarely question their gender identity, they don't realize how early they KNEW it.
